Small predators in North America are animals under forty pounds that hunt other creatures for food. They live in forests, deserts, and cities. Common species include the red fox, grey fox, coyote, and bobcat.

Use a small center-fire (.243 and smaller) rifle to hunt predators. Hunters also use shotguns to hunt small predators.

Trophy Expectations
Any adult predator with a good fur coat is considered a trophy animal.
