About the Arctic Fox
General Information
The arctic fox is a master of survival in the freezing tundra. It is uniquely adapted to endure temperatures as low as -58 Fahrenheit featuring thick fur, fur-covered paws, and a bushy tail used as a blanket. Amazingly, its coat changes from white in winter to brown/gray in summer for camouflage.
These small, resourceful omnivores eat almost anything they can find, including lemmings, bird eggs, and even leftovers from polar bears. They live in underground dens that are sometimes used by multiple generations.
Suitable Weapons
Use a .22 or a similar caliber rifle to hunt the arctic fox.
Hunting Area
Arctic foxes can be legally hunted and trapped in specific regions of the polar north, primarily in Alaska, Canada, and Norway.
